Nebraska has a rich history of success not only on the field, but in the classroom as well. Nebraska has had more players earn CoSIDA Academic All-America honors than any other softball program, with 21 Huskers combining to earn 29 awards. That total also ranks second nationally among all female athletic programs, trailing only the total of the Nebraska volleyball program.

Nebraska is the only softball program to produce more than 23 Academic All-Americans. The Huskers have had one player earn academic All-America honors in four of the last five seasons, while Head Coach Rhonda Revelle has coached 13 academic All-Americans in her 20 seasons at Nebraska, a total that leads the nation.

The softball program’s academic success mirrors that of the entire Nebraska Athletic Department. As a department, Nebraska is the national leader with 299 Academic All-Americans across all sports, while Nebraska boasts a 94 percent student-athlete exhausted eligibility graduation rate.
